In the beginning, there are always questions, Questions, for which, the artist does not provide any answers. To ask questions is what art should. do. Questions force us to think. There are no general answers. Facing the questions, facing the pictures, we have to embark on our own journey through our mind to search for answers. If we find any, they are ours, they belong to us and therefore the paintings acquire meanings. Thus "ALL OR NOTHING" means "ALL" and means "NOTHING". You have to decide for yourself..........GERHARD ANGELKING ~ GOETHE INSTITUTE, KAULA LUMPUR
